Run by Profile Productions on in partnership with Journal of Family Health Care these popular and informative evening meetings include a short talk on a subject of professional interest, a hot buffet supper and an opportunity to network.   Held in 18 different regional venues throughout each year they are FREE to health care professionals  concerned with child and family health.  An exhibition of relevant products is held at each event.

2ND INJURY PREVENTION CONFERENCE FOR THE UK AND IRELAND 24th & 25th September 2010. Cardiff

Two-day multidisciplinary conference organised by the Injury Observatory for Britain & Ireland (IOBI) and co-hosted by Children in Wales, the Collaboration for Accident Prevention and Injury Control (CAPIC) and the Wales Centre for Health. Focuses on prevention of injuries to children and young adults, including from accidents, violence and self-harm. Of interest to injury prevention practitioners, public health practitioners and voluntary organisations. Topics include an overview of national injury prevention activities in England, Scotland, Wales, Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, approaches to suicide in Europe and a violence prevention strategy for reducing health inequalities.
