With refreshed ergonomics and a premium design, the Braun ThermoScan® 5 thermometer (IRT6020) also features Braun’s innovative, patented ExacTemp® guidance system and pre-warmed tip, which made Braun the number one choice amongst doctors.

The ExacTemp® guidance system confirms when the user has safely secured the thermometer in the correct position with a light and beep, delivering an accurate reading in just a few seconds.

Whereas the tip of other thermometers can cool the area within the ear where the temperature is being measured, resulting in variable readings, the tip on the ThermoScan® 5 is pre-warmed before use, to ensure professional accuracy that parents can rely upon time and time again. The soft speculum and tip also ensures the thermometer is gentle and comfortable on a child’s ear.

The new front panel display, with large LCD screen, enables the temperature to be read clearly, while its ergonomic design makes it comfortable to use.
