The British Dietetic Association (BDA) is supporting Childhood Obesity Week by inviting members of the public, as well as health professionals, to access their free factsheets.

The BDA's free Food Factsheets offer tips and advice on healthy eating for children and each one is written by a registered dietitian.

The Childhood Obesity campaign (which started yesterday and runs until July 10th) follows recent press reports on the increased risks obese children face of developing liver disease, as well as a host of other serious health conditions.

The BDA Food Factsheets can be accessed by logging on to www.bda.uk.com/foodfacts.  Members of the public are welcome to download the factsheets and print copies for others.
