With over a thousand delegates pre-registered to attend JFHC Live, a great buzz has generated around this fantastic free to attend event for community health delegates.

Maternity chat rooms in particular have been alive with "chatter", with delegates discussing not only which talks to attend - but also swapping ideas on the types of cakes they're bringing to share on the day!

The event, which takes place this Thursday and Friday [29/30 Mar] at London's Olympia Conference Centre delegates has attracted a fantastic line up of over 30 expert speakers (see the full programme here).

All CPD-accredited, the presentations promise to aid delegates' professional development and learning.

Editor Penny Hosie, who sourced the speakers, said "It's fantastic to hear that so many of our journal readers have enthusiastically signed up to this event.

"We knew the programme was good, so confirmation of delegate numbers is a brilliant endorsement of what the event is: effectively a "live" version of the journal."

Speakers were enticed to attend on the back of the journal's excellent and well established reputation within the world of community health.

Topics include issues relevant to mental health, maternity, school health, nutrition, eczema, and childhood illnesses, etc.

Delegates will be able to mill around the exhibition hall between talks - over 20 stands have been booked and our thanks go to our event partners, Aptamil, Cow & Gate and the Feeding for Life Foundation (FfLF) who have ensured the event is free to attend for delegates (click here for more information on our event partners).

Online registration is now closed  - if you have registered but not yet received your ticket, don't worry, you can collect it at the event from the registration desk.

You can also get tickets on the day, just head for the registration desk when you arrive with your ID and if you are unfortunately unable to make it then you can follow all the action live:
