SNIC 2015 logoAn international event considering the health and wellbeing of school aged children and young people is being held next week, the 27th- 31st July at the University of Greenwich, Old Royal Naval College.

The 18th Biennial School Nurses International Conference will provide global perspectives from school nurses and international policy leads, as well as considering how to improve delivery and health outcomes and utilising the voices of children and young people. The Event will also help strengthen global school nursing practice.

The event will be delivered by the School and Public Health Nurses Association (SAPHNA) and Public Health England, in partnership with the British Youth Council and the Diana Awards.

Speakers include: Viv Bennett, Chief Nurse, Public Health England; Sharon White, Professional Officer of SAPHNA; and John Watson, Deputy Chief Medical Officer of the Department of Health. Young people will be supporting professionals and experts.
