The FIE is a secure online knowledge platform that provides the opportunity to create connections, share knowledge, learning, experiences and ideas with peers and experts in fostering.

The group was set up as part of the continuing and future developments in fostering and Paul Adams, Jacqui Lawrence and Lisa Weintrobe in their roles as Fostering Development Consultants and Information Officer are the Facilitators for BAAF.

Since being launched in November 2012 by the Children’s Minister, Edward Timpson we are very excited and pleased to say the group has gone from strength to strength and now has 226 members and is the number 1 most active group on the Knowledge Hub out of around 1600 groups.

Each month a hot topic will be discussed and this month’s topic is by BAAF and focuses on Gypsy and Travellers Children. As you may be aware Paul is currently writing the Good Practice Guide.

We are hoping that you will share this group with your networks and that you will join and also email or share with us any information you think we should add to the FIE so that we can continue to enhance and shout about BAAF’s work.
