Northumberland County Council has implemented an effective risk management model to safeguard adolescents who are at risk of significant harm from their own behaviour and their approach is having a good impact on safeguarding outcomes. 

This example provides an overview of the processes in place in Northumberland and the impact that this way of working is having. It includes information about the risk management framework, a multi-agency partnership approach and engaging young people.
