Since 1 June 2013, babies now receive 2 doses of the MenC vaccination – one at 3 months of age, and another between 12 and 13 months.
Starting in the school year 2013 to 2014, a booster dose of the MenC vaccination will be given to children in years 9 or 10, when they are between 13 and 14 years of age.
Public Health England has published a leaflet detailing these changes - click here to read it in full.
